LEATHER DROPS

I know there's a level of fustration out there about the drop rate of leather, up until 2 patches ago I could guarantee a harvest of rough in a certain plains area, they've since changed that and reduced the prey that gave it!

If anyone has any tips or definite success stories on who/what to kill to grab this resource type (indeed any resource tips)
then please add to this, I can vouch that our guild armourers all feel a degree of fustration with this, silk is another choke point.


Ivory Vale / Apes of An-Sug (Atzels Approach): Steady drops of GNARLED from mammoths and the apes in those 2 locations.
Kheshatta: Steady drops of GNARLED from hyenas in region.
Purple Lotus Swamp: Some drops of GNARLED from sabretooths.
Guild City Plains: Some drops of CALLOUSED from bears in region, have got more in area near gate to Atzels Approach.
Guild City Plains: Some drops of BRINDLED from mountain goats (lvl 50-60 ones) in northern region between our city an the western city.
Epi-something Mountains: A very good drop rate of Calloused leather from the Mountain apes in this region, indeed most critters here are good for it.
ROUGH LEATHER seems very hap hazard, but have got some off low lvl mountain goats and moose in the plains and from swamp beakers in purple lotus swamp.
Ive added all the above after spending some time in each area (at least a couple of times) to see if its consistant (ish).

ROUGH LEATHER.....found a good place to farm it off the diseased bears, and to a lesser degree off the vile lynx's in the Wild Lands..... lvl 21 to 23 mobs.

Yeah, the lynxes on the North-central mountaintop in Wild Lands is where I farmed a lot of T1 leather. Also, from the crocs all along the river in Khopsef.

Rough Leather is dropping for me at about 20% of kills from the lvl 20-30 deer and moose in Lacheish at coordinates 770, 590. Best I've found so far.
