Recruting Scripts

Ok People we need more recruits so here are some recruiting scripts.

All you need to do is:

Method A

1) download the zip file from one of these links:

http://www.badongo.com/cfile/11185597# (timer at bottom of the page will expire & download button appears)

2) Extract this file to the navigate to the sub folder called scripts inside your age of conan folder.

3) Load up Age of Conan.

4) In Game, type in OOC channel /MW OR In Game, Type /g and then TAB, and you should see the script.

5) Keep an eye on your tells as if people click on more info it will send you a tell requesting more info.

Method B

1) navigate to your age of conan folder, then into the sub folder called scripts, right click & create a new text document.

2) Rename this text file to MW.txt

3) Now open MW.txt and go to format and make sure word wrap is ticked on

4) now copy paste the following into it the document:

/gu I have just broadcast a recruitment message

5) ok now simply save & close the file.

6) In Game, type in OOC channel /MW.txt OR In Game, Type /g and then TAB, and you should see your script.

Lastly if you know what your doing you can take the .txt extension off of the file & the file becomes just MW, then you can type /mw as above.

Now dont forget when someone clicks on the more info link it will send you a /tell and you will need to respond to them to find out what info they would like.

Go forth & Recruit ! but keep an eye on the guild channel to see how long it was since the last time you or a guildie has spammed the message to the masses.

One final tip is you can send it to OOC & the area channel you are in and it will be seen by different people because I know many people turn off OOC.

Damnit I forgot to mention using word wrap & I had also left out a > at one point. this one definitely works.
